This past week was a pretty regular missionary week! Just full of a lot
of work and trying to help people go to church and realize the truth!
haha its a fun job that ive got! so this past week was thanksgiving and i
hope everyone back home had a great one! My comp and I just worked that
day and then celebrated at night by buying icecream. it was a blast.
There is this family in our area that is from BYU and their last name is
Kim. Brother Kim is from california and sister kim is from New Mexico.
they are super cool and both of them are return missionaries that are
studying here at the university to become dentists. They decided to
invite us over to eat a big thanksgiving feast and it was sooooo
good!!!!!!!!! wow it felt so weird to eat an american dish again. haha
thats something that will be hard to get used to when i go home. I love
the Kim family and they are super nice! Right after we got done eating,
we said thanks and then headed out the door and kept working! Yep we are
awesome. ha but this week i am finally hitting my year mark!! YES!! Im
super excited and i think that we are going to go to McDonalds to
celebrate so ill be sure to take some photos of that one. other than
that, things here are going great! we are working really hard with our
investigators trying to get them married. its a struggle but little by
little they are coming along. its odd because the ones that want to get
married and baptized cant because they dont have their papers to get
married and its hard and expensive to get them and then the
investigators that do have their papers and can get married, dont want
to. but we arent going to give up on them. Anyways i hope everyones
thanksgiving and black friday was great! love you guys!
