Transfer Numero Ocho!!‏

It feels good to know that i am halfway through everything and that i only have 8 transfers left to go!! yaya!! Yesterday (sunday) we recieved our transfer calls and me and my comp Elder Peterson are going to be staying here in Miramar for another transfer so ill be finishing off his training! We have a lot of really good potential investigators that we need to get married and they will get baptized right after! Its a little frustrating that no one in this country is married but its really cool to see how happy they are after you help them understand the law of chastity and they start obeying it. Things here are going really good and this past tuesday we had our zone conference which was good and one of my favorite parts was that we got to eat homemade chicken burritos!! Then on saturday we did this thing called a cosecha which is just where all of the missionaries in the zone get together at one of the churches and goes out with members to try and help the less active members get back to church and give them that excitement to get reactivated. we did it in an area really far away and it was just huge fields and i felt like i was in some kind of farm town. it was a good experience and we met a bunch of really cool people. i even found out that there is this guy here that can make anything out of wood and he has made missionaries some homemade guitars in the past! cool huh? anyways that is pretty much my week in a nutshell. things are going good and we are still working really hard to try and get a baptism. My comp Elder Peterson is learning spanish really fast and im pretty sure that he will be good enough by the end of this transfer to be able to be a trainer! Anyways I love you guys and i hope that everyone enjoys their thanksgiving this week!!
Love
Elder Herring
