Fun week in the DR‏

So as of for our baptisms that we´ve got... One of our investigators named Cristi was waiting for her identification to come so that she could get married and now it has finally come! the only problem is that they dont have money to get married and its not cheap to get married here. We are now talking with the branch president and trying to see what we can work out so hopefully we will be able to get them married soon cause they want to do it all before Christmas! yay! we are still waiting on a handful of our other investigators to decide to get married so hopefully those start happening! we plan and work really hard for every lesson to try and help them realize the blessings and opportunities that will come from marriage but its all on the lords time. we even have investigators that have been together for over 34 years and the wife doesnt want to get married but the husband does. its a little frustrating but we arent giving up!! As for crazy stuff that has happened this week, my companion and i witnessed a cool motorcycle accident happen. we were walking down the street and these two motorcycles hit head on and they both fell off but everyone was fine. the only problem was that one of the guys was furious and we thought he was going to start throwing some punches but then other people came over and calmed him down. Also our branch had a christmas party and it turned out to be a success! it was supposed to start at 6 but didnt end up starting until 8 so we had to leave early to get home which was a bummer but we did get a few less actives to come and participate! and my final story for the week which is the best was that my companion Elder Peterson got hit on by a 50 or so year old lady! haha in this country they call girls ¨freccas¨ which just means ¨fresh¨ cause they can get really fresh with young handsome american missionaries! We walked into a colmado (small stores on every corner in the DR) and i was buying something while my comp stood behind me and all of a sudden this old lady started telling my comp that he was missing out on her and then she kept bumping her butt into him! haha everyone in the colmado was laughing and my comp was freaked out! ah good times here in the DR! anyways love you guys and i hope everyone is enjoying their holIday season! enjoy the snow and cold!!
