This past week we had the baptismal interview for Cristi and she passed so it looks like our baptism will be this upcoming saturday!! woohoo! Also Cristi has a dog that follows us everywhere we go.... literally everywhere we go. and when we are in teaching someone in their house, the dog will wait outside for us until we are finished and then keep following us. its really funny and entertaining! my comp elder peterson decided to name it moses so thats its new name. Also we had a really awkward lesson this past week with a lady that we contacted. we finished the lesson and asked her if she could say the closing prayer and she asked if she could pray silently so we said sure! well...... 5 minutes later i was thinking of just saying that we had to go when finally she looks up and says amen!! haha wow that was a long silent prayer! hopefully she progresses!! an amazing experience that happened yesterday (sunday) was that one of our really good progressing investigators came to church and ironically enough, she knew almost all of the young men and young women there!! YES!! we put a baptismal date with her and we have a lot of hope for her and her family. oh and her name is Scarlet and she is 21! haha we went to Scarlets house sunday after church and while we were teaching her the plan of salvation, her mom came into the room without me seeing her and scared me by putting a real live turtle in my face!! i threw my book of mormon and it was super scary but really really funny! haha everyone had a good laugh at that one! Today (monday) we went to the capital to have our missionary christmas party with all of the missionaries in the whole mission and it was really really fun! i was able to see all of my old comps and talk to them! anyways that was my fun week! love you guys and i hope you all have a wonderful christmas!!
Love,
Elder Herring
