Transfer Calls!

This past week has been really fun and exciting! So this last week was the final week of the transfer. My companion Elder Jensen has had 6 transfers in this one area (Boca Chica) and for any of you that know how transfers work, that is a really really long time to be in one area!! He pretty much has 9 months in this same area and so i knew for a fact that he was going to leave when the transfer calls came so i was 100% expecting to stay because we have a couple of really good investigators and i know the area really well now. But last night (Sunday night) we had the transfer calls come and of course as was expected, Elder Jensen was called to another area but then they said that i was also going to another area!! So tomorrow (Tuesday) im going to be leaving for a place called La Romana which is even further away from the capital! apparently this area that im going to is far enough away that they only bring the mail once a month so now its going to take even longer to get and send mail!! im really excited though because my new companion has like 8 or 9 months and i talked to him on the phone and he sounds pretty cool. his name is Elder Harris and he's from Sandy, Utah so luckily i got another companion from Utah!

Me and Elder Jensen made sure that the ward members here in Boca Chica were really close to our two investigators (Ricardo and Janilda) so that when they get their papers, they can help them get married and then baptized! the ward here in Boca Chica is really strong so i know that they will be in good hands and we've also called the 2 new missionaries that are coming into this area so that they know whats going on! Im still in shock that im actually leaving and going to a new area! Transfer calls are probably one of my new favorite things cause you never know whats going to happen, who you'll be with, and where you are going! 

Also this past week, me and my comp. went to Burger King and bought ice cream cones! its fun to go to Burger King and all of those kinds of places cause you dont usually see them around here unless you are lucky but we have one in our area so we decided to go just for the fun of it! but other than that, everything here in the DR is going great and the weather is hot and sunny as usual! I hope everyone at home is loving the spring time and the warm dry air! it feels good because its warm here but its a different kind of warm! like a really really really humid type of warm! i love it though and im getting more and more used to it everyday! anyways love you guys and i hope every one is doing great back home!!
