Bebos baptism!!

This week was a WORKING week!! there is a thing in this mission called numbers of excellence and thats when you hit a certain number in each category for things like lessons taught, people with a baptismal date, people in church, new investigators. well me and my comp are getting pretty close to those numbers every week which is really exciting cause not many missionaries can do that! yay! im pretty excited about that. We were able to get the baptismal interview for Bebo (scarlets brother) and he passed so now we are going to have his baptism on friday!! everyone is super happy and the youth are loving having a couple new friends in the ward!! Our next goal is to get the mom super active and baptized in the church so that the whole family is united! Ill send pictures next week of the baptism! Also we taught a lady this week that is 106 years old! wow that was a fun experience. she was still walking and everything and said that missionaries used to pass by there all the time 28 years ago! haha that was a fun lesson! oh and this past week Moses (our missionary dog) was walking with us and he went to cross the street.... well an SUV that was driving way too fast ran him over cause the SUV couldnt stop in time!! but then the SUV just kept on driving and Moses got up out of the road and ran back towards us! luckily we were by where he lives and so we just took him home. he was only walking on 3 legs after he got hit and a couple other legs were all bloody. when we went to leave the house after taking him there, he tried to follow us even though he had just barely gotten ran over! haha that dog is so awesome! well the owners (which are members) said that he would be fine!! we went and checked on him saturday to see how he was doing and hes walking on all 4s now and seems to be doing a lot better! Hopefully he heals quickly so that he can come back out with us! And to top the week off we were able to go and eat at McDonalds because my comp and another elder in our zone had their birthdays so everyone decided to go to McDonalds and celebrate! Pretty fun week! Love you guys!
Love,
Elder Herring
