Conference weekend and Transfers!‏

Ok so this week was pretty crazy! the week flew by but on wednesday, we were headed out of our apartment for the afternoon and as we were walking down the steps my foot kind of fell into a hole awkwardly and then the next thing i know, im on the ground! haha i sprained my ankle really bad and i couldnt even walk!! my ankle swelled up to the size of a tennis ball so we decided it would be best just to stay in the house for the rest of the day! the next day, the swelling had gone down a lot and i was actually able to walk so we got back to work! while i was down for the previous day, i thought a lot about what would have happened if it would have been serious enough to have to go home and get surgery and then it made me think how much i didnt want to. being out here as a missionary really makes you miss home but the thought of coming home early from my mission made me think twice about why im out here! i still feel like theres more people that i can help make their lives better and happier and im so glad that my accident wasnt bad enough to send me home! ill put photos up next week of my fall! but on a better note, general conference was great! its amazing how much stuff that the prophets say that helps out missionaries! also another crazy thing is that they are now letting 18 year olds go on missions!! and 19 year old women! wow!! i talked to one of the missionaries today in my zone and he told me that his sister back home said that 15 girls that were at BYU went and got papers so that they could get started on their missions! i have a feeling that the number of missionaries is going to increase rapidly! cool! ok so also this past sunday, we recieved transfer calls and i got another special call from the president and this time i will be training a new missionary that is coming into the field and i will also be opening a new area in our mission! Im going to the zone called San Pedro and a new area called Mira Mar! im pretty excited to be a trainer and also to go into a new fresh area! it should be a great adventure! ill let you guys know more about how things go and who my new comp will be next monday! anyways thats the fun news for the week! hope everything back home is going well! love you guys!
