In the right place at the right time!‏

Weeks here in the DR are starting to blend together and time just keeps picking up speed! So this past week me and my comp have had a few times when we were in the right place at the right time! So we were walking to our appointment and they ended up not being there so we were a little far from everything else in our area and we were trying to think what we wanted to do next cause we had a lot of time to spare. So we started walking back and my comp said that there was a member that lived by there that we had never visited cause she lives in an apartment place that has a locking gate so not just anybody can get in. I told him we should try to see if we can get in and so we decided to go over and see if anyone was coming in or out. There was no one around and so i suggested that we try to find a way in and i started looking at the lock cause i was going to try to pick it or something. Yes i know that is bad for missionaries to do stuff like that but i had a feeling we needed to get in. So i took off my missionary tag and played with the latch inbetween the door and somehow i ended up getting it open!! We went to the member ladys house and her little son let us in and then told us to go to her room. We were a little confused but we went to her room anyways and she was on her bed. She didnt look to good and we started to talk with her and apparently she had just had surgery. She asked us to give her a blessing and so we did and then shared a scripture with her. She kept thanking us for coming and asked us to come more often. Anyways the cool part about this story is that we wouldnt have went to her apartment if our investigator would have been home and we wouldnt have gotten in if i wouldnt have ¨broken in.¨ Its amazing how the spirit will give you promptings to go and do certain things! Anyways things here in La Romana are going good! its still getting hotter and hotter every day!! The heat isnt the problem but the humidity is!! We were supposed to have a baptism this upcoming saturday but our investigator (Marisa) was sick yesterday so she couldn´t come to church so now we have to postpone it for another week. Things here are going good and everyday we have new experiences! I´m going to try writing down one cool thing every day that happens to us so that i dont forget to write it on this! Love you guys and I hope everyone is doing good!
Love,
Elder Herring
