The Life of a ZL
First off i want to say thank you to everyone for emailing me last week and wishing me a happy birthday! it was a pretty fun day full of teaching and contacting but hey thats the life of a missionary! Being a zone leader is a little different than being a normal missionary! you cant work as much in your area cause you are constantly helping the other elders in your zone and there are so many meetings and things to do! its been a fun adjustment but Elder Chavez my companion is doing a great job helping me out with that. Our area that we work in is really cool and we just put two baptismal dates with two of our investigators this past week so we were really really excited about that one!! ones name is Polo and hes about 53 or so and the others name is Amauris and he is 14 but friends with all of the youth in the ward! its really fun to see the work keep going here! I live in a 4 missionary house now so thats exciting cause there is never a dull moment! its fun to be one of the zl´s now cause we really get to know all of the missionaries in our zone! anyways things here are going great and i hope things are going good for everyone back home! love you guys!
Love,
Elder Herring
